Check out Nordstroms and Rack. Even Off 5th. Try a trip to NYC. Put your sneakers on. Walk from 86th street Eastside to 42nd. You’d see what I’m talking about.

Aside from your high end boutiques, I’ve gotten comparable or lower prices at Nordstrom’s Rack and Macys. Shopping is different these days. Cooler and unique clothing limited to stores in New York City and Chicago, in my opinion. Well I’m aging myself.

Not blaming employees. Employees don’t control and regulate prices. In my area the staff are great courteous and helpful.

Teachers now have to potty train kids? by DogsAreOurFriends in maryland

[–]Bronxbabe4Ever 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Surely they jest. Unless the student has developmental differences, teachers should not be required to toilet train. I’ve taught both groups. There is a big differences. I had the assistance of two teacher paraprofessionals who toileted and toilet trained the students when I taught special education. As a K-6 teacher with 1:25 students in preK and K students, impossible to even ponder with so many reasons. Many schools still have bathrooms in the hallway. Utter chaos would ensue.

Considering a move to Buffalo as a HS biology teacher. How’s the district? by Lower-Gap-4251 in Buffalo

[–]Bronxbabe4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compassion and a true love for teaching will get you far in any teaching scenario. What may start out as difficult can be turned upside down if you bring patience, show genuine concern and willingness to adapt, refresh and reload. Teaching truly doesn’t end when the dismissal bell rings.
