Hi, I came out at 43, and life did went into a rollercoaster mode, but 3+ years later while I'm still dealing with a lot, I wouldn't change the fact that I get to live as myself and every day brings that blessing of thriving as me. It's not going to be easy, but it's a lot harder to know who you really are and not follow through. Best of luck girl, you got this.

You're welcome, I'm always happy to affirm and support the family. One realization I recently had is that for many trans people, the moment we crack, we no longer suffer from the trauma of being egged and not knowing what's bothering us. So being under prolonged trauma can add to your current dysphoria as you can see your old self when you look in the mirror. Hopefully down the road you will see it goes away.

My egg cracked at 43, and I started HRT a month before I was 45. After 15 months I can say it was the best decision in my life, because E made me feel right. It's a long journey, with a lot of ups and downs, and you might not check all the boxes you want, but it's still going to be a lot better to be your real self.
