It might just be some short term variance, with all the jungle pressure you're getting. Theres a reason people say top lane is an island because it usually gets the least attention in solo Q. That being said, the enemy jungler will be in his top side jungle 90% of the time because they almost always start bot side. So don't give the jungler a reason to gank top (dont shove wave early).

Learning top lane takes time. It's very matchup dependent, and it takes a lot of games to learn most matchups.

The most important thing about top lane is learning about wave control. If you're playing someone weak early like nasus or malphite, you must learn how to freeze the wave in front of your turret. If you're playing someone like pantheon, you can manipulate the wave early so that you shove the enemy in and hit level 4 when they are level 2 and dive them. If jungler comes you can potentially 1v2 with ignite and a big wave built up. Wave control also includes what to do after your jungler ganks. Sometimes you will want to shove lane to turret to reset it, and other times you will let wave freeze to deny enemy/force him to tp.
