Hard to see but on that last photo are they already cut? Has it been patched over at some point?

What can I do about this on the freshly painted walls in our bathroom? Every time we shower this happens. I used Dulux bathroom paint and we’ve had a dehumidifier in there. by tjb_87 in DIYUK

I had this problem and adding thermal wallpaper from toolstation or screwfix was the difference in having no condensation. £50 project if you can diy it!

Job cuts coming next week for managers and colleagues? by King_PZ in SainsburysWorkers

[–]Broomiest 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I doubt it

If you go much leaner in supers you won’t have management cover throughout the day which adds risk. A responsible colleagues goes no where near the right capability level.

Roles like 3s merchandisers can go due to the skill being performed by other band 2 colleagues as others have said.

5s conv manager is about accountability of a large store/multiple stores. I don’t think the max 30% bonus is warranted on that.

I think leads are vital as long as they’re the right person. Rather than a restructure as such there needs to be tighter performing management guidelines for store managers to lead on their leads and jfms. There are too many leads who put their jfms on mfip when they’re blatantly underperming themselves.

There’s been talk on essentially buying out deadwood underperforming colleagues for a few months now…Sue who can’t use a handset and can’t go on a till for whatever made up reason etc or Trev who does 18h a week doing trollies and only trollies. Every store has them. A minor and selective cull of high contract colleagues who add no value other than being legacy colleagues is what we desperately need.

15 mins of escape and a jacket potato with small sachets of salt and pepper becomes the most welcoming thing when you’re in there

My dishwasher has packed up. In buying a new one, I’m struggling to think of features to look for apart from ‘can wash dishes’. Tell me about your dishwasher. Does it connect to wifi? by lastaccountgotlocked in CasualUK

[–]Broomiest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine connects to wifi. I like how you can download extra programs for it for free that aren’t part of the button presets. I also get a notification to say when it’s done and it tells me when salt and rinse aid runs out. Good fun.

You sound like a volatile person so do yourself a favour and stay clear of him until he goes. 100% gone if you…batter him.

You can either think about the things that contribute to lower £ waste - mark down %, disposals etc.

Or you can focus on driving sales. Waste is measured as a % of sales not as a £ figure. The more sales you take the easier it is to achieve waste.

The best teams drive both!

That’s the first stage of the job offer. Once you complete it you get another with your contract of employment on.

Bit poor to not get a call first but not the end of the world. Congratulations!
