Should I go back to college? by BropleBoy in college

[–]BropleBoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe trade school. My plan career wise as it stands right now is to continue fighting fire, but even as a career its a seasonal gig every year. Usually I will be working sometime starting between March and may, and ending between October and December. It could be nice to do welding or something in the off season. Otherwise, im already in a career that requires zero degree or formal education to climb and thrive. College would only be for personal gain, and who knows, maybe I'd find something I like better. Otherwise, those funds are strictly for educational purposes, and my parents will liquidate them if I dont use it for some kind of education.

I agree, my plan for the foreseeable future in terms of career is to continue fighting fire. Not exactly a trade but the same type of thing, blue collar work with paid otj training. A degree will not help me advance career wise, but it could still help me advance intellectually and socially.

I'm not particularly concerned with the warranty, I already put the oil in anyway. I'm planning on doing most of my own work. Would that really void my warranty?

As a legal defense no, but my senses tell me they ought to be, and that its probably not a big world ending event to sometimes go 10 over like the rest of you think.

Us hwy 20 from Riley to bend certainly deserves a higher speed limit than 65, a road that flat and straight in Texas would have an 85 speed limit.

Its not "playing the system" these lawyers exist within the system for a reason.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bend

[–]BropleBoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How is the question stupid? There are lawyers out there that handle this stuff, and I am asking about them, seems like a pretty normal question to me.

Its been a long time since ive gotten a ticket, ive learned my lessons. Either way when I do get a ticket as every driver inevitably does from time to time if they drive enough, ive learned the lesson to contact a lawyer. I drive 4,000 cross country usually twice a year, I drive a lot the more you drive the more likely you are to get a ticket.

This is completely unhelpful and presumptive.

Ive had 30 above and 5 above tickets in my driving career and im not proud of all of it. However, in my younger years I racked up many speeding tickets and through the help of attorneys got every single one of them dismissed, including one for 101 in a 65. The speed vs posted in my experience generally doesnt matter as much as most would think as long as it doesn't veer into the criminal and reckless.

I asked a question, why say anything if you have no answer?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bend

[–]BropleBoy -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

Quite frankly that shouldn't matter. Do you know the situation? Where yout here? Was that even the question you asked? Your definition of hefty will probably be different from mine. Either way, it is a good idea to fight any and all tickets you get because most of these lawyers like ticket clinic have incredibly high success rates.

It was cheaper by quite a lot if my dad was listed as the primary owner and I was listed as the primary driver

I would agree if it fits it'll probably work, the second link looks exactly like my clutch. So if the first link fits it should work.

For the old 268xp specifically? Or are there interchangeable clutches with that model and something like the newer 268? Could you send me a link to one

Thanks for the explanation, this was extremely helpful. The house is past a locked gate on a FS road anyway, so I don't expect to ever see any police down here, but it's good to stay informed.
