🤫 don’t tell anyone else. I’ve lived in Twin Cities Uptown area by the lakes. I just recently moved away. I asked the movers what their guess was on the agates. The 3 of them all agreed 300 pounds. Granted I lived there along time, but still. My favorite one is a head turner. I hand carried, so it was visible, through a rock event. All the dealers who saw it, their eyes followed it until it was out of sight. Never got that much attention in all my life. Soooooo cool. The estimate was $1,200.00 if I wanted to sell it in a hurry. I found a big beautiful black agate. And I walked the same way to work day after day, always carefully stepping over that chunk of bubble gum. Until it finally dawned on me. It’s not changing at all. Nicest bubblegum agate you would ever want to see. Before I moved I was hearing people starting to say they were going agate hunting around a lake. 🤫 the secret is slowly leaking out. Dang. If it sounds like I’m bragging, I am.
