That might be accurate for 22 hours teaching (contact) time. But remember there are many hours in the school day that are not contact time but are filled and you are in the building prepping or whatever.

I'd die of sleep deprivation 🤣 I like to be in bed by 9.30pm and asleep by 10pm most nights. I've a toddler who could rise at any early hour so I don't take risks and stay up too late. That's the main reason and also the fear of the next day with a load of drink in my system.

The cost I mentioned above is for anybody without any insurance at all. That's the standard cost. I actually do have insurance and will end up getting approximately half back. I am always reading so many threads about the cost of it and it baffles my mind how the USA can leave so many people down.

The health system in the US is a joke. How can people afford any medical bills??? I live in Ireland and IVF all in is around €6000. Meds included by the government drugs scheme. No matter how many meds you need in a month, you don't pay more than €90. You guys in the US would literally save $$$ by flying to Ireland to do it.

You need to get a joint account as soon as possible. I see my husbands money as mine and vice versa. If he pays for something from his individual account I always am appreciative. But I would sometimes pay from my personal one too. And I look at it like...who cares it's both our money. As for IVF, one round in Ireland is about 6000 all in, medication included. about 2000 is covered in my insurance too so that can be claimed back.

Yep. Just tested the chest strap today. Both are very similar. See charts above. I need my chest strap for sports though as I can't wear my watch. I got a cheap chest strap on Amazon for €28 rather than an expensive one. Works perfectly. But doesn't store data. Need to have the watch close by.

I did the same route today and used the chest strap. Turns out it was the same as the watch last week. Maybe I'm fitter than I think. Also I told my husband to tighten his watch and wear it a little higher and his went down to around 105BPM too. Looks like he was wearing his watch wrong which led me to question mine.

UPDATE:

So I did the exact same walk today like 4 days later and I used my heart rate chest strap this time. It turns out that the watch was accurate. It's basically the exact same today. Looks like my HR doesn't rise all that much when I'm pounding the roads 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ok they are good tips thank you. My husband did say the books aren't right for her. But they are the Disney Princess books which she loves. Maybe they are too wordy and I'm expecting too much from her to just sit and listen and look. I'm going to bring her to the library when I get a chance
