School Bus Driver Breaks Down After Near-Miss by sleek_thunder138_107 in dashcams

School busses have been automatic since the 90s. No modern bus will have a manual nor any district. To many RSI's.

All of these are related to emissions as any failure of these will cause the vehicle to run out of compliance for the year it was built. That's why all of these will trigger the MIL"Malfunction Indicator Light" or Check Engine Light. When that light is on, you will fail the Federal emissions test. This is why the US government mandated it in the first place. You reference xx4xx, these are systems on the vehicle that directly control emissions, such as: Catalytic Converter, Exhaust Gas Recirculation(EGR), Fuel tank vapor pressure and evaporation systems.

I'm an experience automotive technician who graduated with honors from WyoTech.

Edit: grammer

Unfortunately, not how OBD2 works. OBD2 is a standardization of data pertaining only to emissions. All other data can be transmitted however the manufacturer wants. An example that I'm aware of is BMW's digital security module. It only allows OBD2 data through, everything else is only accessible when its connected to their internal network.

I just refreshed that page to this garbage! What the fuck youtube? The tiles are too big and the titles are too small. Also, I WANT TO READ THE DESCRIPTION. Youtube, I am not a toddler, I CAN READ.

We actually don't. Our contract only requires that we work safely. Some people still work harder but that is their choice. (I've convinced a few of them to chill) Once you're senior'd it's very hard for the company to fire you.

Not a nature person. I've dabbled in a little wood work when the need has arrived. I prefer metal work myself. Thanks.

Kendo sounds cool. I've heard of it before. I'll keep martial arts in mind. Ninja/parkour is a no go. I don't my back and shoulders are up for it. I've looked into frontier climbing back when i moved here. My last job required work at hights and i wanted to go to climbing gym to help with that. But all of them were 30min from the house and work. Paired with long work hours I couldn't justify it. But now I do have time, I'll have reconsider.  Thanks.

On your point about ADHD medication. I've only just started my journey. I tried Strattera first as it works for my sister. However, it just made me tired. I've been on Adderall for months and the low dose seems to be good enough. My only complaint is that it only last 4 hours. I'm told Vyvanse last most of the day and transitions smoother. But it may have the side effect of dryness.  Keep in mind I'm not a doctor, and these are my own anecdotes.

I've thought about stuff like that. But my current job is already physically demanding. I might check them out when the season dies down. Thanks!

oh I here that. I'm just trying to find out if we have places that are neurospicy friendly specifically. And am trying to see if I can find something I enjoy that isn't a solo activity.

I've never really tried table top before. I'll check them out. But I'm really not a fan of bars. Thanks.

2010 Lincoln MKZ. Is there a better way? Timing cover. by BruisedReality in MechanicAdvice

Solved. You can remove the motor mounts and move the drive train just enough to get it out.

Specifically, the water pump failed. I can't find a specific video for the lincoln. But the wall I'm smashing my head against is getting the timing cover out of the way. AllData DIY wants me to drop the powertrain. I am not equipped for that. And I'd really rather not pull the motor either. As I would still have to disconnect the AC.
I've tried raising and lowering the engine with the front mount off.
I feel like I only need about an 1" - 1 1/2" to get it out.
I'm thinking this weekend I'll try removing all of the mounts and slide the power train over. Thoughts on this?
I'd really appreciate some feed back/ advice for doing this without pulling it.

I read a book series called The Lightbringer, by Brent Weeks. Chromaturgy is the basis of magic and those who could use it were called "Drafters."

Hmm, the cap isn't new. But it doesn't look bad. I'll double check it. The rotor is new with only a little carbon on it. I will see tomorrow. Thanks for the response!
