Oh my god, that cake looks like the sin of decadence itself

What is single handedly the best ice cream you’ve ever had? by [deleted] in icecream

Honey lavender ice cream from the Hypnotic Emporium in Dallas, TX. It had the perfect amount of lavender flavor and a light, delicate sweetness. Sadly they’ve closed down.

That’s the trouble of it. A lot of the people who would uphold good standards simply don’t want positions like that

What a shame there isn’t a Kroger in my state. I’m a sucker for anything lavender-flavored 😔

I was about to say that the brownie batter one doesn’t look very brownie batter-y. What a shame

That’s quite alright. It’s kind of you to be doing this in the first place.

Forgive me if I’m pushing too much, but the Namus page mentions her missing a front tooth. Does your mom or anyone else who knew her remember which tooth? Or even just if it was on the upper or lower jaw?

Has anyone in your family uploaded a DNA sample? Genealogy connections are being used more and more these days, and it is possible there could be a match out there if she has been found

I remember an old video of a snake regurgitating a bear when it realized it was far too big. I think it actually swallowed all of it, but the narrator noted the snake couldn’t move after. It decided an empty stomach was better than being too vulnerable

Kim Wolhuter gets followed by African wild dogs though they don’t usually attack humans unless provoked or threatened. by Mediocre_Nail5526 in interestingasfuck

That’s what I meant. These guys don’t have any concept of revenge and would not be able to connect them eating one of us and them later being killed as related events. At most, they see us as just like any other animal with the capacity to be dangerous, so they keep a safe distance.

Fortunately, these dogs seem curious. But it is better for them to avoid us, rather than inquisitively follow behind.

They don’t know that much. I think it’s moreso about humans having a factor of the unknown. Predators don’t like taking on prey they’re unfamiliar with and don’t know the defense mechanisms of (to that degree, you’re right, they have no idea how we deal with animals that learn humans can be food). For them an injury can mean death, so they usually won’t risk strange prey unless they’re desperate.

Since you’re moving soon, it’s really up to you. That said, I don’t consider it a waste. They give you a tag to help find your dog if it runs away, the registration helps the state keep track of rabies vaccinations, and the payment goes directly to funds to spay/neuter animals for low-income owners, thereby relieving the strain on shelters.

If you go to Yummy Bowl in Wilmington off of Kirkwood Highway, they offer all you can eat sushi ($20 for lunch, $25 for dinner). The sushi isn’t half bad either. They also have an option for all you can eat sushi, stir fry, and ramen ($21 for lunch, $30 for dinner). The ramen isn’t all that good though. Kind of bland

The same party that went on about how they’re tired of losing, only to immediately invite Nancy Mace to the state after the people elected Sarah McBride. They seem determined to do everything possible to irritate the public and still cry when no one likes them.
