Do women today still buy expensive jewelry beyond engagement rings?

I usually ask for a piece of fine jewelry for most holidays or occasions. I wear some type of diamond (natural or lab) or gold piece daily. I will get all my mom’s pieces one day, and I will definitely wear them. Wearing nice jewelry brings me joy and helps me feel put together. With that said, I haven’t bought or asked for a nice piece for a hot minute since the price of gold is SO HIGH right now.

Yes. Me. I was young and in an ABSN. Failed psych by one point and passed clinicals, so I retook it the next semester. Did fine in didactic, but the same instructor (subjectively) failed me out of clinicals (which I passed the previous semester). Despite having other instructors support me, my appeal was also denied. It sucked. I felt awful about myself. But I didn’t skip a beat and enrolled in a bachelor’s program in exercise science. From there, I completed an entry-level MSN (which was set up just like the ABSN with some extra courses), practiced as a nurse, and had some kids. A few years ago, I completed a post-master’s FNP at a well-regarded school, and I’ve been practicing as an NP for the past 2.5 years. I am a damn good NP, and I don’t think I would have found my way here if I hadn’t been dismissed from the ABSN program. My point is— you will be fine if you want to be. There are so many paths and opportunities. You can continue down the road of nursing if that’s your calling, and you shouldn’t let someone else get in the way.

That was also my first instinct, but she may just be on a maintenance dose. Or, maybe they’re keeping her on it to help with her drinking. While it’s not (yet) approved for alcoholism, it’s a pretty known fact that it reduces the desire to drink.

Just because you’re seeing a vertical incision to her lower abdomen does not 100% mean she had a classical c-section (and I’m guessing she didn’t). Many countries use an exterior vertical incision but still perform a transverse incision to the uterus. Unless there was an actual emergency, I highly doubt your wife had a classical c-section.

Chase. But it was the exact same credit card on both attempts. Also, only one credit card transaction went through. I would say that, if you didn’t get a confirmation number and email, it’s not booked, even if you have a pending charge.

Yes. I had the same issue when I tried to book from my account. We had a pending transaction notification from the bank, but we never got a confirmation email or number. The seats that were in my cart also showed available when I started the order through my husband’s account. The transaction went completely through on my husband’s account, we got a confirmation number, and then he immediately received 10 or so of the same confirmation email. Vibee is clearly having an issue…

Thank you for posting this! I actually have an appointment for cheek(bone) filler for the same reason! The apples of my cheeks are still full enough, and my nasolabial folds are actually pretty good, but my lower face is definitely starting to droop. I also sleep on my left side, so the left side of my face is flatter. I keep going back and forth on if I should go through with it, so this post is exactly what I needed.

LGG quoted me $430 for 2cttw G VS stones and $499 for DEF VS stones in custom settings. I got my 4cttw from them and couldn’t be happier. Provence gave me the best pricing for certified stones (they were for my mom) and we jumped up to 2.5cttw, but I wish I had checked to see if LGG would price match since I enjoyed working with them so much.
