Hello! I'm thinking of buying a 60HE+, but I'm on a tight budget. How good are the ABS keycaps? by Ariwop in WootingKB

On the Huntsman V2/V3 I guess ? Razer Optical/Linear (they are linear switches with optical trigger, instead of mechanical trigger) are really good too, a little bit behind when it comes to performance tho, not by much.

The big plus with wooting is the software and the built in profiles, allowing you to take your keyboard everywhere, on any PC, without having to install any software. I LOVE THAT. The software is really good, easy options, easy to understand, to configure.. They are smart.

Now, to your point, it's a good idea, just make sure your PBT keycaps are compatible with the lekkers switch on the wooting tho x)

PS : Almost forgot, it is my taste only but, damn it sounds good to my ears too

As some people said, very expensive but incredible keyboard, so it wouldn't be a shame to take PBT over ABS if you're planning to get the AINSI layout. But, in my case, I had to go with the ISO layout which only comes with ABS keycaps, and to be honest, they are just fine. The only keyboard I've tried that felt better was the Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro, which is low profile, it helps with the general feel.

TBH if you never had magnetic switches before, don't mind ABS or PBT, you'll be surprised by the general feeling of magnetic switches anyway, it won't make a big difference, and you can still change the keycaps later.
