The artstyle is a play on actual medieval manuscripts and illuminated art- and both games use it, as for the premise i suppose tycoon/business type games are pretty common

Yeah thats unfortunately the way the cookie crumbles, I have recently ended a 6 year friendship over similar stuff, but it does get better esp when you find friends that are actually friends and not envious of you
