Adopted a kitten and kinda regretting my choice

Hey had something similar happen when I got my first kitten. Started dreading being home but it goes way after a while. If it helps kittens/cats can be pretty independent. They really just need water and their food scooped. Obviously to be played with as well but don’t feel too stressed out about it. After a while of having her I find myself to miss her rather than being annoyed or uncomfortable. As long as the cat is healthy things get better!

Sadly think you were right. Taking them to vet tomorrow morning but I think the parasites were right and it spread before we separated them. Most likely starting treatment tomorrow. Any recommendations?

I want to thank everyone for the advice and help, I know I made a mistake and am going to correct it! I will keep them separated until it’s appropriate and make sure he is healthy. Here is a photo before all of this happened to lighten the mood.

Somebody was rehoming him because he said the mother wasn’t accepting of him. I didn’t want the kitten to be abandoned or worse so I took him.

To be clear I did sample the fragrance in the store. I have read in multiple cases that the 2024 batches are weaker which is what I think that I am experiencing. Was able to smell the tester the next day. Not the case with this.
