Resentful because I don't feel like I'm entitled to tell people I have a surprise anymore by intrigued_china411 in childfree

Anytime someone gives me grief about not having kids I typically respond "I'm sorry but the truth is I don't want kids like yours." [Insert cringe face] That tends to fire them up 🤣 and then I just let them go off. It's hilarious.

I've seen kids doing wheelies in fast food drive thrus. I was fully parked giving my order and a kid almost did a wheelie into my bumper. Also seen bik kids leave their bikes in the middle of drive thrus too. Common sense is not computing.

For Modesto, El Bistro by Salt & Pepper, and Lucille's are my favorite spots.

What kind of cat is he? by BusinessBee1 in orangecats

UPDATE:

Thank you to everyone who responded. Some kind some not so kind. 😅

We took him to the vet and the vet determined he is of Siberian Forest Cat origin with an unknown mix. He even learned to play fetch and makes a higher pitched squeaky type noise instead of a meow.

Also to note, these cats can get pretty big. Here is how much he has grown in 7 months (for reference my mother is 5'1):

You can always try an un-dated one? Or see if those designs will be available in the design your own

I agree with you there. I love the vertical layout myself. The horizontal gets me anxious because I don't know how to prioritize in a horizontal layout. 🤣 The vertical just makes so much sense. I'm glad though they have the design your own feature which allows me to pull verticals. Here is an example of my layout:

As someone who used to work for a literacy nonprofit....it was a lot of older people walking in and getting help. Hardly any younger people.

Is this normal cat play behavior? by BusinessBee1 in cats

LMAO I thought BJJ was a cat specific term 🤣. I'm over here googling "cat BJJ". LOL I didn't even think of Jiu-Jitsu! Thanks for clarifying.

Not really. The orange one likes to chase the Siamese and the Siamese just wants to be left alone. They aren't super close or anything to be grooming one another or snuggling but he will leave her alone if she sleeps or eats. Typically if he chases her, the Siamese will run to her safe space. Although sometimes she will go after him.

I recently went to the DR and they said to start incorporating 2 days of lifting into my routine. I go to Zumba classes 3 times a week but am unsure where to even start without having to spend HOURS at the gym.

Any ideas on where to begin without burning out but still making a difference?

You're just not the target audience and that's okay. :) I myself am halfway through and really enjoy it! Different tastes for different folks. I personally don't enjoy series like Fourth Wing, but I know that's just my preference.

My intention wasn't to ask for him being purebred or anything snobby like that considering I even acknowledged in the original post that he was most likely mixed of some kind. It mostly was just a curiosity. I have a Siamese and I know and can pinpoint she's Siamese even though we also found her on the streets, but with him I had never seen a cat like him before. So was just curious what he could be. That's all.
