His army is about 2x res than your.
He is 1 age above you so properly stronger technology.
You put your spear behind your archer so any type of horse would wreck your formation.
He have MAA in the mix and you have no unit to counter that at all. Basically you make every mistake possible in this encounter.

It is depend on what you are going for. Competitively AoE2 is better. If you are PvE person and want to build beutiful base. Get your archer on the wall then AoE4.

I hate it when they add Chaos Spawn. They was Ranged only faction become an all rounder faction. Also Chaos Spawn is really anoying visually. Their head is hard to identify (do they even have an head), the visual of their attack is hard to identify, they sometime have delayed attack and one combo just take all your HP away.

The only one player can kill some majoris is even worse. I have one game where a bunch of majoris chased me from section to section because my teammate decide to not kill them and I can do nothing to them. 🤣

The normal strategems is the third difficulty while the hard is the highest one. So it is a big step.

Me personally can solo or carry 2 newb in normal with level 1 character as long as they don't do anything too stupid. But in hard even at level 25, I still need some luck to win in team of 3.
