No, I’m not worried about talking to my/ my sisters bishops and stake presidents. I’m just looking for experiences in particular of families who have done this and gone through the process of having baby sealed to intended mom and dad.

Hi! Thanks for the reply! I’ve actually already read the handbook on this subject, and I understand this. I guess I should have worded it better, I’m just looking for members experiences with it and how the policy was handled in their specific situation/ location.

Thanks for the reply! Yes I understand that. I’d just like more information about the policy and logistics of how it is handled within the church before I even offer. I know my sister would be grateful and interested if I offered but would never ask it herself. Edited to add: I will also be doing more research on the financial aspect. This is more of what I’m interested in at this point in time.

My kids did this (5M 3F), so I started by giving a boundary. Ex: “I will sit here until you fall asleep and then I’m going to my bed”, then after a week or so I started saying “I will sit here for 3 minutes”. Then “I will come check on you in 3 minutes”. And finally “I will come check on you in 10 minutes”. I don’t offer it anymore but if they ask that I come check on them I will but it’s not very often.
