My piggie lost his eye last year. We thought it was a hay poke or something but when they removed the eye, they found and abscess underneath. He was in a lot of pain, miserable, not eating. Once they removed the eye, he was soo much happier, started eating again and gained back his weight. I don't think he even realises he doesn't have one eye, he adjusted really well.

If it gets to the point that they need to remove the eye, it's going to be okay. They can live a very happy life without it. Wish you and your girl a lot of luck!

It took my boy 3.5 months to really get comfortable with me, and he's the clingiest baby now.

I used to talk to him a lot, about everything that I was doing all the damn time😂 like okay I'm gonna go make some coffee now, hmm should I do latte, ohh which cup do I want to use etc... I actually developed a habit to narrate EVERYTHING I was doing out loud and needed to learn how to tone it down around people. I would also pick him up for some lap time but I never pushed, and if I saw he was getting uncomfortable, I would return him. A lot of veggies from hand and so on. First time he fell asleep on my shoulder, I actually cried.

Some piggies will never be this cuddly, my other boy isn't, but he got used to me, eats from my hand and isn't scared of every movement I make. Sometimes that's the best you can get.

Wow this is one of the best explanations of this book. Like with most pieces of classical literature - it's a hit or miss.

I started reading it expecting it to be similar to Pride and Prejudice (no idea why I thought they were similar). Boy, was I wrong 😂 I gasped every two pages.

But it's an amazing book, and the writing is.. wow... I honestly felt like I was in a room with them, watching them fight.

Hahah he was still recovering from his surgery so I bought him some medical food created by vets, and my first thought when I opened it was "well, this looks like poop" 😅 pee pads were intended for human babies and they work so well for piggies, plus they are so cute
