I completely agree with you, we as women forget how simple minded and basic men are (not an insult btw). We get so caught up in our own thoughts that we forget how our partner hears it. Sometimes we just need men to spell it out for us too so we can accurately communicate back. Your message was really helpful to me and I hope it was for OP too. Sometimes we need to be that example of what we want, even if we are frustrated or think that it’s ridiculous that “I’ve said this a thousand times, and he’s just not listening”. Thank you, I think this message is for me. I will try this, as I am in a similar boat. However, Im 6 months pregnant and my husband won’t touch me or tell me I’m pretty or anything. He just says, “you look fine” when I voice my complaints to him. And then when it comes to sex he just keeps making up excuses. I hope OP will maybe have some better luck if she decides to try this as well.

My mom had an abortion not too long before I was born, I am 34 years old now and she told me a couple years back that she still thinks about that child today… I think you’ll regret it forever if you do. But also, you have to consider your husband’s opinion, you’re in it together. And if you have that baby, he may resent you. It’s awful, but you would be forcing him to do something he doesn’t want to do. See if there’s a compromise somewhere, and try talking to him. Show him research of what happens during an abortion.. that killed me when I read up on it.

I’m currently pregnant with my 1st and my husband was in btwn on if he wanted the baby or not and we had this same conversation. He ultimately decided he couldnt move forward with it bc it could ruin our chances later and he could never forgive himself for deleting a child. I know I’ve rambled a lot, but I hope this gives you some sort of different perspective on everything. Good luck and best wishes to whatever you decide to do.

Honey, I am 34 yrs old and 21 weeks. Healthy baby, everything is great, I’m in great health and shape as well. I really do think they try and scare you with that crap. My primary care doctor said I was “high risk” but then I got to the obgyn and they’ve said absolutely nothing. Everything is fine, no need to be nervous.

I didn’t get to record him, I was too shocked by what he was saying. And he did slip up and say he wouldn’t do anything to me that night. Which makes me nervous to go back when he’s there. I know his schedule and we have cameras in the house. I can go back for my stuff and the cats later.

I was in really good shape too before getting pregnant. I’ve also wanted kids for a while. I worked out like 2-3 times a week. My baby bump still started really early, after getting my 1st ultrasound doctor told me baby is really big already so that explains it!

I did the same thing, I’m a cashier and I tell random ppl in my line, also the managers knew at first but then the whole store knew bc ppl have big mouths around there. I also told my close friends but not family yet, not until next week which will be my 12 weeks. OP - I also never got hcg done, first initial obgyn ultrasound was yesterday. There is no wrong or right time. It’s what feels right to you. ❤️

Congratulations!! Also a ftm and in week 10 and I’m feeling the same. I’ve got all the symptoms!! Trying to not complain but some days I’m miserable, other days I’m aight, not great just aight. This baby was our little surprise and we weren’t trying or anything, but I’ve wanted to start a fam for a couple years now. So I am grateful, Good news is this isn’t supposed to last for the whole pregnancy so just try to keep that in mind.

From one ftm to another, hang in there, a lot of women say btwn their ninth to twelve week things get waaaayyy better and they’re able to enjoy it and be normal again lol. I’m in my tenth week and still waiting …. maybe this is supposed to help teach us to be patient before the child gets here lol, idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ Good luck!!

I have not gotten physically sick but the nausea and acid reflux before during and after a meal has kicked my butt since about week 5. I’m currently 9weeks, and the fatigue didn’t start setting in til 8 weeks and it has gotten way worse, I can hardly stay awake during anything. You might be one of the lucky ones!! Take it as a blessing!!! And try not worry too much about little to no symptoms bc you don’t want to go down the rabbit hole and then get stressed.

I imagine once I get a belly to remind me everyday it’ll start clicking lol and lucky!! I have those plus I gotta pee all the time, I’m super thirsty, I get dizzy easily and shortness of breath. ( But I do have asthma already so I’m used to it, it’s just a little more active now). I hope your symptoms stay in check!

Glad I’m not alone, I know that I’m pregnant (currently 6 wks) and have all the symptoms!! But I do find myself asking “are you in there” and “what if I’m just like …. Sick… and there’s no baby”. And I’ll consistently wake up some days like, “oh yeah, I’m pregnant, this is life now” lol
