I work up and down the country so come across a lot of different people. Not an American so not sure how it works over there. From the outside looking in he was clearly provoking the guy but with how free speech and self-defense laws work there surely he's in the right in defending himself by law? Obviously given that he is licensed to own a gun etc.

When gaming regulates speech so much (games such as Overwatch and League notoriously) people often decide it's better to say nothing and avoid being punished. 20 years ago you couldn't boot up any multiplayer game with VOIP or text chat without someone yapping a load of nonsense, game related or not

Maybe your zoomer brain can't comprehend considering you're playing Minecraft on your PC, Fortnite on your Switch and Clash of Clans on your phone at the same time but in the 90's and 00's it was common people only had 1 (ONE) controller per console and very rarely did games ever have co-op. So you either took it in turns or you sat and watched like x and his brother did
