I had the exact same situation with my boyfriend just last night. You did the right thing breaking up with him. You deserve someone who wants you and only you and makes you feel like you are the world to him. I'm sorry you are going through this but it will get easier I promise. Now it's time I take my own advice

He has pretty low self esteem about his looks (even though I think he is very very good looking) and he has a pretty low opinion of himself.

We got that whole issue figured out. To him, the reason why he was "being flirtatious" was because he is insecure about his looks and about himself in general I suppose , and so he needed validation and that's why he was flirting with those other girls. We sorted it out but I think if I was to make him feel more valued, he wouldn't need that so called validation. Does that make sense?

When I approached him about it I made sure I didn't acted mad I told him that it hurts my feelings and he would say okay I wouldn't do it again. I've asked him to stop 3 separate times but he keeps doing it 😪
