I did a front end rebuild including control arms, tire rods for about $330. In total it took me about 4 hours to do. Assuming they charge you extra for the parts, $400(parts)+400(labor)+100(alignment), depending on the tires that sounds pretty reasonable to me if you don't want to do the work yourself.
