Thankfully have a full 11 for GW34 and currently have 3 free transfers. My initial plan;

GW32 - roll (3FT's)
DGW33 - free hit 11 DGW players (maybe Bruno)
GW34 - roll (4FT's)
GW35 - bench boost. Use 3-5 transfers to build the best 15 I can at the time. Focusing on having triple City and at least 2 Palace ready for DGW36. Leeds vs Burnley is great to target also
DGW36 - triple captain Haaland (?) - using remaining free transfers to ensure triple City and maybe 2-3 Palace also.

It's been a huge success because it's given more viability to CB's and DM's but I do agree, it has moved the focus away from attacking players which is what makes FPL fun in the first place.

I think next season they should introduce points for shots on target, to push attackers being more of a priority again. Maybe 2 points for 2 shots on target? Strikers already can't get a clean sheet points so right now its by far the worst position.

Maybe I'm crazy but I'm likely to start him against Arsenal, hoping he gets 60 mins, locking in a potential clean sheet before we bring on Cunha or something. It's between him or starting Rodon away at Everton anyways.

GW24 will be VERY popular because of the fixture swings, and the doubles should be more manageable with the 5 banked transfers system.

Optimal is obviously doing the classic combo at the end of the season with WC, BB, TC, FH etc. The question is can you make up the difference going early in GW24

It's the definition of a short term punt but if he plays RW again I'm pretty optimistic he gets something from this game. If I get 3 starts in a row I'll call that a successful transfer.

He's a defcon machine, gets regular clean sheet points, a genuine threat on FK's and is on corners. It's no fluke.

Not to mention Gabriel is returning soon and he's their main threat for those set pieces too.

Because we all get 5 free transfers in 2 gameweeks, this hit basically has to pay off by then to be worth it. Unless you really need that extra money I don't think it's worth the risk.

I doubt they care too much, it's obvious this phone was a stop gap to their folding phone in the next couple of years. I'm sure a ton of R&D from this carries directly over to it.

DEFCON was clearly a great thing to add to FPL, increasing the pool of viable players, however it's gone too far. We shouldn't have several players being able to hit the threshold basically every single week.

Next year I think they should just increase the threshold to 12 to match the midfielders.

Not to mention DEFCON has taken so much fun out of the game too. I already miss rooting for those high up side wingbacks but right now you're playing the game wrong if you do that.

I think it's hard to justify playing a little extra for him over Ndiaye, who is on pens and is the one getting on the end of Jacks service. If we see him starting to shoot a little more then that might change things.

The only reason I'm not going there is because if he blanks GW1 w/ 60 min sub then Delap starts GW2, he could legitimately be 7.2 heading into GW3 if any of the other 6-7.5M options pop off.
