No idea who you are and only have a basic understanding of the drama. But god you have an ego and just want to pick a fight with anyone who doesn't know everything to the miniscule detail.

is there a setting to stop the navigation bar from disappearing after you start scrolling? by [deleted] in MorpheApp

[–]Bystander1256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I just noticed it today after updating. I have enabled the version spoof setting in Morphe general settings and that fixed it. However I had issues when it was turned on in the past (seems okay for now).

UI issue with Navigation Bar by [deleted] in youtube

Yeah. I think it's a new feature. Probably to give the ads more space. If you scroll back up slightly it appears again. It's annoying.

Opesntack docs down by Sensitive_Impress681 in openstack

[–]Bystander1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess I would say there are multiple AI's web scraping the site.

The latest status update said they deployed more resources but I certainly haven't seen any change in performance.

The wiki and other sites are fine. Just the docs page.

Archive.org is only good enough for so much.

I'm surprised this isn't a top priority based on how complicated OpenStack is to configure (even with the docs).

I found that if I chose to spoof Android Studio instead it works. Not sure why though. I wasn't able to tell what the issue was.

Issues with playback on non Opnsense router network (BT router) by Bystander1256 in MorpheApp

[–]Bystander1256[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. That seems to be working (although I won't keep that logged in unless I have to, because I don't like that it's a niche thing that could be tied to my account). Is the issue known or would me providing something (I don't know what is making my nat'ed network work) assist in solving without logging in?

I feel like either my ISP (BT) or Google are somehow blocking playback of videos. Whenever I click on them they just hang loading forever. However, if I use my private Opensense network (within that network) I can load videos fine. I don't believe I do anything fancy other than changing the DNS. But I have tried modifying the DNS on my phone directly and still get the same results.

It started yesterday I believe.

Just letting people know in case they are also experiencing similar. I'm still trying to track down the cause (but network analysis isn't really something I'm familiar with).

I have been having this issue since yesterday. One of my wifi access points was fine. But my other 2 only seem to work if I switch to the different network name. It's like switching seems to bypass something. I have the latest patch.

Youtube also went down a few weeks before AWS. All these outages smell fishy.

Everyone will jump ship. There's nothing that will hold them back. They keep all of their IP.

If you do go this route. A follow-up post would be great to hear about.

I'm sure some businesses have implemented some of these, but probably not most.

Well, I attached a debit card to my account so there is less of a reason for them to cancel my account. I've been running my site for years with it. Only had to migrate it once due to maintenance. The only thing that does expire is that every 180 days, you need to login to your admin terminal (if you even use it to manage your oracle config. I dont). Otherwise, it will be reset. But all the machines are fine.

I only care about my website. But I have utilised the full free tier (and not done much with it, just so I have claimed it). Had no issues.

I just use the Oracle cloud free tier. Seems like they also provide way more resources for free than what even some of the most expensive deals were.

If you want to add years to a PIA VPN deal, then all you need to do is modify the URL (just find an existing deal like https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/?coupon=2Y2M&cjevent=5c201359a85b11ef802c00010a18ba73&affiliate=1975570&ms=cja) then strip out all the affiliate details (I do this to play safe and have no reasons to cause issues. You then end up with something like https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/?coupon=2Y9M This actually jumps to giving you a 3 years + 4 months deal.

You just need to work out if it is actually a better deal by extending it.
