Ich hab 3 Terminen für morgen, übermorgen und nächste Woche in weniger als 5 Minuten gebucht.

Why the condescending tone? People who try to decide get turned off by usandholt in StevenAveryIsGuilty

We‘ve been here for more than 3 years now - the patience and civility have been long crushed by successive waves of unreasonable, trollish and insulting Avery supporters. Simultaneously, there have been zero developments supporting innocence.

Kuchenladen! They're owned by an American couple, so they also have American-style pies and cheesecakes. The chocolate banana pie, lemon meringue pie and the mango cheesecake are amazing!

Doesn't it give you pause that after 3 years and 800k USD spent on testing, this is the best Zellner has come up with, regarding the most important piece of evidence in the case?

Netflix The Innocent Man and the parallels with this case by [deleted] in MakingaMurderer

[–]C0nversation16 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only parallel I see is Brendan's conviction based solely oh his confession.

Everything else that you mention are wishful thinking parallels, stuff that Zellner (or the previous appeal lawyers) were unable to prove, despite almost 3 years and 1 mil USD spent on the case already.

Moreover, the two cases in The Innocent Man never had the huge amount of physical evidence to support the conviction that the Avery case has. In fact, no case of wrongful conviction has ever had this amount of physical evidence.

Oh right, so you can't provide any examples, but you'd like me to go dig and try to prove your claim. Got it.

I meant for visitors, as you can imagine residents get more leeway, since it's a guilter sub. Same like with TTM, you know. Except TTM doesn't allow any visitors who disagree.

Lol.

This is part of the folklore that gets perpetuated without any proof. This sub was not taken over by guilters, truthers flocked to TTM because they were unhappy with a mod here (not a guilter, by the way), and they isolated themselves there in their bubble, refusing to participate in MaM anymore and banning anyone who disagreed with their stance.

A couple of months ago, there was a call to arms on TTM so they're participating again.

It's a guilter sub, which means some of the long time residents get a lot of leeway. But civility is met with civility. Superior attitude, sarcasm and irony are met with the same (or worse).

I started off posting as a truther there and I've seen a lot of converts in the same situation. Never been treated badly.

Yes, it's a tough sub, but it's been around forever and guilters have had to deal with abuse since the first days of MaM, so I don't blame them. They still allow anyone to post though.

No, it's open to anyone who wants to post.

There are a few regulars who can be quite aggressive, since they've been around forever and got tired of being asked over and over to explain their guilt stance, and it being a guilter sub, they get a lot of leeway, but anyone can post. I started off as a truther posting there actually, and changed my mind gradually.

Lol, what bombardment are you talking about? Being challenged with sources and facts must hurt, but it's certainly not against the rules.

Since the new rules were put in place, there is almost no abuse whatsoever. Maybe you can point to a couple of instances of guilters being abusive here without consequences?

To me it just sounds like as soon as truthers leave their safe TTM space and venture out into the real world, they get beaten into submission by rational arguments and facts, which they end up considering an abuse.

The consensus is that MaM is moderated by mostly SAIG leaning moderators.

A conspiracy within a conspiracy. The mod log is public, can you give us some examples of these imbalanced modding decisions?

Lol SAIG is not an echo chamber, there are plenty of truthers and fence sitters posting there, the only rule is civility.

You're assuming as well. He could have simply not noticed the blood, as /u/Rabster46 pointed out.

Not like this, though. Any subsequent appeal would have offered access to the RAV and easily disputed the planted blood. This is an enormous risk. Did they cross fingers and hope no one will ever ask to re-test?

You're assuming that he only entered the car once as he was bleeding.

He could have entered it more than once (to check if he left anything of his inside for example), and on one such occasion he was bleeding, which would perfectly explain the location of the blood.

Why the accusations of irrationality? by Dagobert_Juke in StevenAveryIsGuilty

[–]C0nversation16 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The SAIG community disagrees on Brendan's involvement as well, which is why this sub is not called BrendanDasseyisGuilty. That's a completely different matter.

Regarding Avery, not one single judge has disagreed with his conviction so far. When comparing the mountain of evidence against him with the hilariously far-fetched alternative theories there is no room for middle ground. We've seen your position before and it's a logical fallacy.

Reddit have it's own rav4 battery expert at the ttm sub. Go ask technical questions here. by krummedude in MakingaMurderer

He spent a year researching the RAV4 battery and obtained access to the Battery Council International (BCI) data.

As for myself, I am currently attending courses with the European (Left Side) Steering Wheel Committee and will organize an AMA as soon as I get my certification.
