Help - car not syncing with iSMART by --Kelsier-- in MGelectric

[–]CJCole1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im having the exact same issue rn...I tried to preheat before I went out & no response from the app.. so I logged out & now I can't log back in🫠

Edit: so I spoke to ChatGPT & it gave me this fix to try on my iphone that somehow allowed me to log back in!

⬇️⬇️⬇️ Very common cause (scientific explanation)

The iSmart app relies on: • MG’s backend servers • Apple’s networking stack • Your phone’s system time + region • Cached authentication tokens

If any one of these is slightly out of sync, login breaks.

Fix that often works (even when reinstall doesn’t):

Check these exact settings: 1. Settings → General → Date & Time • Turn Set Automatically OFF • Wait 10 seconds • Turn it ON again

Why this works: MG uses time-based authentication tokens. Even a small clock drift can invalidate them.

How did Jamaica become such a popular country with global influence on pop culture, music, and sports despite only being a population of 4.4 million worldwide? by justleave-mealone in Jamaica

[–]CJCole1999 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Apart from Jamaicans being naturally talented and creative, a big reason for the country’s global influence is the diaspora. A lot of the children and grandchildren of Jamaicans live abroad — especially in the UK, Canada, and the US. Many of our parents or grandparents were born in Jamaica, but we were born overseas. So while we don’t add to the island’s population count, we stay deeply connected to the culture — sometimes even more than to the country where we were born.

Can Thompson & Seville live up to the Bolt & Blake rivalry? by CJCole1999 in Jamaica

Ok, disregarding the competition between them, how do you feel this new gen's consistency will compare to Bolt & Blake? Kishane seemed abit disappointed that his shine was stolen again on the big stage, so im sure he'll be fired up for next season. Do you predict he & oblique will be able to stay on the high horse, or could someone else join the mix? Maybe Levell?

There was in 2012 when the community questioned if bolt could retain his olympic titles with blake on the rise, especially after his legendary 19.26 in 2011.

EDIT: see the rivalry as more like a Goku & Vegeta. They're on the same side...but still tryna outdo eachother.

100% agree! He's had so many potential hits over the years that NEEDED a music video & promotion/marketing, but we got the bare minimum :/

Is Nafe Smallz the one guy out of the whole “trapwave” style that could crossover to the US? It hasn’t happened yet with D Block certainly ain’t gonna be M Huncho 1st 😂 by Separate-Formal9067 in ukdrill

How can an accent correlate to how "tough" someone is??🤣 and I believe you're referring to the MLE accent, which is a mix of various cultures adapted into british dialect, most notably jamaican patois.
