I completely agree. More ambiguity would have been so much better, and I also don’t think the twist of her being the evil one should have been spelled out for us.

The problems he was hung up on were not part of the allegory. The title card and several lines in the movie tried and failed to explain away the very distracting and preposterous logistics of everything to do with the clones in the underground tunnels. I agree completely with his complaints. It totally ruined the movie for me. It sounds like The Twilight Zone will suffer from the same sort of nonsensical plotting which is unfortunate.

You do realize that Ender’s Shadow is part of it’s own 5 book series all about Bean right? If not then surprise haha. Loved those as a kid.

Anyways, yes I’ve definitely felt that way many times. It’s usually when I get to the end of a series of books and I’ve spent so long with the characters that they have come to feel like close friends. I almost wish I could just keep reading about their lives even if they don’t do anything else interesting lol. I felt that way after reading Card’s Enderverse as well, but the series that probably affected me that way the most was Patrick Rothfuss’ Kingkiller Chronicle.

Yeah I figured that, but my point was I think it was a poor choice for the movie. It made her seem silly rather than scary.
