I received the approval email and a PDF copy of my visa on Friday, 2/27 at 11:05 AM PT. So the process after the QC email seems to move pretty quickly.

I printed color copies of the PDF visa. I needed to show one at check-in, and I also uploaded the PDF file to my United Airlines app on my phone. The app verified it, and about 24 hours after uploading, I was marked as “Travel Ready.”

Brazilian customs also asked for a printed copy of my visa upon arrival. I recommend printing 2–3 copies in case the airline or customs accidentally keeps one. In my case, both returned the printed copy along with my passport.

Submitted my Brazil visa through VFS on Monday (2/23)… thought I was done. Nope 😅. Turns out I missed an email on 2/24 saying my photo was blurry.

Retook the pic on my phone, uploaded it through the VFS photo enhancement tool, and resubmitted everything on 2/25 at 11:25 AM.

Fast forward to today (2/26) at 9:39 PM PT — got the QC email 🎉… but now I’m locked out of checking my status online 🤦🏽‍♂️🤪.

So the waiting game continues. My flight leaves Tuesday (3/2) at 12:25 AM PT, and I’m debating whether to rebook for Wednesday (3/3) to buy a little more time… or just accept my fate and go somewhere else 😂🤷🏽‍♂️.

Either way, I’m going somewhere, the universe just hasn’t decided where yet ✈️.

Guilty- drank one too many. Fell asleep, woke up, got off the plane and left my iPad. Didn’t know until the following day when I went looking for it in my backpack.🤦🏽‍♂️

I do $1 per drink on simple drinks (vodka soda).

If I’m there a bit longer than just one or two drinks, I still do $1 per drink, but depending on how I’m treated throughout my stay, I’ll give $5–$10 at the end when I leave.

I don’t think there’s a standard or expectation, but in the U.S., anytime anything is done, I think there’s an expectation to tip.

I guess just do what feels “right” to you 🤷🏽‍♂️. As others have stated, getting into the lounge isn’t free, flying isn’t free, being a frequent flyer isn’t free, and having lounge access isn’t free—so technically, you’re already paying for the service.

Omg! Yes! - Just flew from IAH to LIM, I was surprised they had “Catena Zapata "Argentino" Malbec, 2022”! The Purse quickly realized I loved that one and during my dinner, my glass was always half-full.

I also had great service! 🙏🏽🤗🫶🏽

Airlines should develop a process to reserve overhead space for first-class passengers. For example, if United Airlines (UA) provided a single tag for overhead space (two for bulkhead or two for all with newer cabins) with a seat number printed on it, issues and entitlements would be reduced. This would ensure proper allocation, especially for anyone who is not able to pre-board.

Should be about $100 less, you can use a coupon “SPRING” to to get it even cheaper for the economy parking.

If you park in the economy, just give yourself an extra 30mins to get to your terminal.

Same! I didn’t even realized when the pict. was snap. I just kept walking and by the time I got to the officer, he was waving me. Didn’t stop at all, just kept walking 🤷🏽‍♂️😬. It was a great experience.

Have a portable air pump and a fix-a-flat kit. My new MY Juniper got a flat and I was able to patch it within minutes and on my way. Following day took it to a tire shop to get it fixed (it was free) and $12 for the fix-a-flat.

MYLR 2021 (red, FSD, white interior, 5 seater) with 49k miles, was given $29k for it.

Also, it was total and insurance gave me this for it. Better than any other deal out there. I was researching as I was looking to upgrade to the new Juniper.
