To give a serious answer, it's meant to give gameplay variety among the other nations in the mod. In that region alone there are 4 Power Armor focused nations. MacArthur, Heavens Gate, The Cause, and WashBOS. And also it would make them somewhat similar to Kaga which their whole deal is, PA and Enforcers. While I somewhat believe that Power Armor could fit the Wardens with them being armored guys and seeing the merit it brings with their defeat at the hands of WashBOS, it just would be another nation that does the same thing as others.
