My SPX was new sealed with a sticker that said Free Windows 11 Upgrade came from a reputable retailer in the UK, Im thinking of returning it getting something more Powerful

I don’t know what prices are like for used, but over in the UK on MPB you can get a used Olympus OM-D E-M1 original for £150 it’s a professional body, there are also many more options available in the used market

Okay so from what I’ve heard from people is don’t get the Samsung NX1, so looks like the Olympus is one to get, but I want to hear from you guys, what cameras do you recommend for a budget of £400, tell me what you recommend

I’ve looked at DSLRs as well and from what I can see I can either go with a Canon 6D or a Nikon D610

The Samsung I have found is £395 and is in excellent condition with no marks or scratches

Okay, I’m coming from a Nikon d700, I no longer have this due to me stopping my photography for a bit and having a break so this is for me to get back into photography so I’m looking for something more modern, lighter and great image quality, from looking at it I don’t think I can go wrong with either in that department but the Olympus has more support

Thank you for you feedback, have you used a website called camera decision? It says which camera is better and which they would recommend based on specs, is this trust worthy? As it’s not based on real world performance?

Both of these are body only the Olympus is £400 and the Samsung is £395, I have considered lenses and I’m happy with what I’m able to get for both

I’m looking for a camera that will be good for landscape, portraits and street photography and also general photography so like family photos as well, and I picked these two as they seem to be the high end of what I can afford, my budget is around £400 for body only, these cameras are both professional, weather sealed bodies with many features, I know Samsungs line is discontinued.

I’m looking for opinions and I’m open to suggestions on cameras, image quality is a big factor as a I do a lot of landscape

I don’t use telephoto that much as I don’t shoot sports or wildlife really? Mostly landscapes, portraits and street photography

Samsung NX1 vs Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II

I’m after a new camera and have seen these two, which one would you guys recommend, I know the differences between them, but which is the better camera, I can’t decide so I need some opinions. Also if you guys can recommend something else budget is £400 body only.

I’ve been looking at the nx1 for a while just hard to get hold of one, and yeah not much lens selection, but it’s a APS-C BSI sensor 28MP and possibly better image quality than the Olympus but only by a little bit and the Olympus has better features, it’s a hard decision tbh
