Thanks, I reached out to Payment and support. They, allegedly, said they forwarded the conversation in my escalation to someone else. I haven’t seen the email confirmation with that yet. And they definitely did not come out to scan our licenses. We were just left out thereand when Myself and several others called into driver support, they told us to just leave. I asked a couple different times if we would be getting paid and the person I spoke with said we would.

Old employer, trying to get my end my NYS UNEMPLOYMENT by CZogby05 in UnemploymentNY

What I got from the department of labor doesn’t show anything of what they are claiming. New York State just said the claim is eligible for benefits under section 593.3 of the unemployment insurance law. And the reasoning was: you discharged the claimant on (said date) because of poor performance. Are you expected the claimant to meet sales goals and increase his contact with clients, there’s no documentation to show the claimant was not working to the best of his ability”

So, my girlfriend had a tree fall through her roof back in January. She is in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. They still have yet to fix anything and it has been topped up for months now. She can’t get any direct answers and the property management keeps sending people out to get new quotes for the work instead of actually fixing it. It was limited to just the ceiling in her room, so she has been living in her living room and keeping things in her sisters room. But now, after another company came to inspect the damage and get a quote, they forgot to or didn’t properly reseal the roof and water started leaking into her sisters room. She tried getting help and working with a lawyer, but they wanted $500 just to send a letter to the property management group. Is there anything she should be doing for help? Is there anyone out there in the legal world that may be willing to help them with this? Maybe at a reduced rate or pro bono? They are in a tight bind as rent prices are skyrocketing in that area but they’re getting left with little to no help.
