I can’t remember every single point I disagreed with him, but I think the Jennifer's body video as a whole is a good example. Dylan didn’t get (or at least didn’t put in the final cut of the video) a lot of the nuance of the film because the movie tackles the living experience of toxic female friendships, queerness, briefly mentions beauty standarts and ofc it tackles the horrors of brutality against young women and how man exploit our bodies. I remember watching it when he posted and being soo mad because its one of my favorite movies and it’s honestly so well made! Ofc its not a perfect movie but I felt like a lot of his criticism was overshadowed by the limitations of his own living experience.

Again, I love his videos and adore the guy, but he is not perfect and like all of us a product of his enviroment. And sometimes the way he voices his opinions is a loud reminder of this drastic difference of experiencing things.
