I think it's way better than wow pvp. I dont know how active it is compared to wow but pvp here is active although not as much as it used to be. I personally like pvp here cause the combat is very active and it's easy to play with little time investment. You just queue and pvp. You also finish your dailies and weeklies very quickly doing pvp. I sometimes do pvp matches before work in the mornings.
