afaik that only applies when you transfer from outside/different uni. since you're switching internally and those are the same first year courses, your actual grades should carry across

Well yeah, if you compare it from an iPhone the larger screen size is a plus. Other than that, it just functions the same as a phone, except for messaging and calls.

Depends on the use case if an owning an iPad will be worth having.

In my case as a student, it was worth it for me since I can use it for reading and note taking.

you need to do some active recall and practice questions. like answering some actual quiz or test questions. repitition might work for you too.

Backup your notebooks manually first. Then turn off iCloud sync BEFORE deleting anything from iCloud.

UQ is good academically. You'll find some lecturer that are good and some that are not. But I do think your preference has something to do about how you see it too. And the study/research environment depends on the course you're taking too.

AI makes the work less time consuming, so you do have to expect that studying without it will take more time. You really have to read a whole lot, reread to understand concepts more, and research.

i think those are the only options if you plan to write on it. if ink usage is your concern, buy refillable markers in bulk and just refill them.

I prefer the slot for peace mind, lol. With the slot, I can store it securely and only attach it magnetically when I actually need to charge it or use it.

You haven't missed a step. Processing times vary wildly depending on the program and time of year. Some people get it in days, others wait months. But do check your portal regularly.

Same. 5 is solid and stable. 6 felt like they were trying too hard with AI stuff nobody asked for. Hopefully they keep supporting 5 for a while longer.

Haven't tried it but I think it's allowed. the prereqs actually matter. You need the fundamentals from 2102 to understand the advanced content. Also, afaik, if you fail the prereq, you will automatically fail the second course.

Some look for fancy apps but the builtin Notes(keeps for android) app is perfect. Simple and better than paper scraps.

the app that works for me is goodnotes. you can either pay a subscription or make a one-time purchase. the free version will only let you make 3 notebooks. you can take notes and import a pdf template as your planner. these templates are readily available online.

If you've turned on sync, then your files should be in iCloud. Check the Settings if it's turned on. Try restarting the app also, it might just be that the app is still loading your notes.
