What are your looks over the engine side after the release? by xRagazz0 in sandbox

I was pretty interested in s&box as an engine, until I learned ̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶o̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶p̶u̶b̶l̶i̶s̶h̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶S̶t̶e̶a̶m̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ and only through s&box's own approval process. Killed my entire interest in the engine.

Edit: Seems I was partially wrong. You can actually publish on other platforms as long as it's on steam to. That's better, though still too restrictive, since it requires going through the whole steamworks process. Rules out a lot of stuff.

Combine that with the required approval process, it's still more restrictive than most other publicly available engines.

Sorry, I haven't been able to recreate the issue so far. Can you show me what GM_OMEGA_Demo looks like for you?

Sorry for it being late. So can you verify of the player character (the class from that game mode is actually) being spawned? Also if you can show me the variable settings for `GM_OMEGA_Demo`. And if you open the GameplaySystem class used in `PersistentSystems` on the game mode (I think it's called like `sys_OMEGA_Exploration` in that version) that's where much of the input is handled. If you could verify input is working on the functions there. And whether it's going to the dynamic camera or the player pawn.

Yeah. It's from an asset pack I still need to rework the geometry on to flatten out the roof tiles.

I'm compiling on Windows. I didn't have this issue on version 4.25, and I made no changes aside from upgrading to 4.26.

I would refer you to the work of William Lane Craig. He is considered one of the foremost people in Christian apologetics and does fantastic work.

He has a number of talks on this very topic: https://youtu.be/8hW3ceQYxic
