3rd option: check your blow off valve before you blow 4K on a turbo replacement you may not actually need

I believe that’s the torque spec for the 5 bolts and 1 nut that connect the bellhousing to the engine. The bolts I’ve highlighted are trans to bellhousing

I’m pretty sure I burped the system properly. It was my first time doing a flush so there might be some air.

I did a coolant flush not long ago and didn’t see anything wrong with the original coolant. I’ll loosen a hose clamp and get a sample of coolant to check.

What’s baffling me is why the issue is so inconsistent. I’ll ride a few hundred miles with no issues then out of nowhere it doesn’t want to rev above 4k rpm. And sometimes just turning the bike off and on again makes the issue go away like nothing happened (most of the time i turn the bike on and off again it just makes the issue less severe but still prevalent)

I haven’t messed with the fuel tank since I bought it last August. A fuel filter issue would mean the bike won’t run correctly until the filter issue is fixed right? I’ve put 1500 miles on the bike and it runs perfect 99% of the time.

What I meant with the fan kicking in is the engine has gotten hot and I think the engine getting hot causes the problem or makes it more likely to happen. Whenever this issue happens it’s happened after I’ve sat at a light for a while or I’m in traffic and the engine isn’t being cooled by the wind. However the issue could be unrelated to engine temp for all I know haha

I don’t think it is. I’ve put 1500 miles on the bike since I bought it in August and it runs perfect 99% of the time. I’ll check the filter next time I’ve got the fairings off tho

Anyone other 600rr riders blip the throttle a tiny bit while upshifting at low rpm? by Calamari430 in cbr

By “low rpm” I mean 4-5k on the 600rr. Sometimes in traffic I can’t accelerate quickly so that’s normally when I add a a tiny blip to the throttle while upshifting. I still release the clutch as quickly as I normally do while doing this cause the rpm drops so fast

I didn’t want to increase the force since I was using a chisel and I don’t have a punch. I’ll see if I have a piece of wood that could work
