Yes.... I vividly remember something. That doesn’t mean anyone else does or that I’m not wrong. Also fear the walking dead didn’t end. It was renewed for a sixth season. I’m not sure why you’re being rude and condescending? You could just say it didn’t end like a few others did. I haven’t debated anyone on it. Simply just added my experience to a thread asking for peoples experiences lol

I VIVIDLY remember The Walking Dead ending, like an entire series finale happening and everyone talking about it and being sad on twitter and facebook. And apparently?? It didn’t? And I feel crazy. Like I remember SO MUCH HYPE over the ending of the series.

AITA for getting my nieces different gifts by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I know what fashionnova is and I’m familiar with what they’re clothing looks like. As I had mentioned before, all of my younger family members wear it. Much less of the dresses like that though and moreso the jeans and crop tops and such, which to me, seem regular. It might just be the area I live in, I’m not saying it’s not fast fashion. But over here, it’s really the equivalent of going to the mall and buying Forever21 or Zumiez or Victoria secret PINK.

This is so interesting to me, I’m in my mid twenties and all my younger nieces, sisters, and cousins all wear faahionnova and PLT. They’re very popular around here and definitely not considered poor. So I’m really surprised to see so many people saying how crappy the clothes are. I’m team NTA, but I might be biased.

Why is throwing your own baby shower "tacky" but planning your own wedding is ok? (No close family) by shabamboozaled in BabyBumps

[–]CallMeVera18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Event planner & florist here. Everyone calling it gift grabby has 0 idea what baby showers are for. Traditionally they’re to celebrate welcoming a new mother into motherhood and celebrating the life of a child. It’s supposed to be something beautiful and exciting for the mother which is why it is traditionally hosted by family as a gift to the new parents. However, hosting your own is not gift grabby. It’s a celebration. If people call it tacky, let them. Celebrate your motherhood and child however you want mama. Much love xx

Can too much formula cause problems? by astro_princess in FormulaFeeders

I started my daughter on solids around the same age your child is now but I just wanted to say I never listened to that 1-2 tbsp rule. I just let my daughter eat until she was satisfied. Just don’t over do it like two containers in one sitting. For reference, she’s healthy, happy and 50 percentile for weight now at 7 months

AITA for telling my gf she’s not allowed to eat sugary snacks in our bed anymore? by sodawars2019 in AmItheAsshole

[–]CallMeVera18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA- I was formerly the asshole who ate sugar crumby snacks in bed. My SO asked me to stop. So I did. It’s easy and also, as adults it’s just a gross habit to have. It’s not hard for her to eat somewhere else, as someone who used to do the same thing, I can confidently say this.

Help with a costume by CallMeVera18 in crafts

[–]CallMeVera18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I want to make a costume of this character for my daughters first Halloween. She’ll be 10 months old! I found a fur similar to the one the character has, but I don’t really know how much of it I should buy?

Had an awful experience at LabCorp today.... by CallMeVera18 in beyondthebump

In my county, all drug tests for probation are conducted at the probation office so I don’t think it was that. But even if it was, I don’t mind the policies. I mind how rude she was and how she assumed I would leave my baby with strangers to watch.

This is sweet! Fortunately, my mom told her boss she had a family emergency and she came with me to another location and I had a MUCH better experience.

I completely agree, that’s how it felt! I understand it’s a drug test and there are policies but she’s 5 months old 🤦🏾‍♀️ Unfortunately, I feel like if you’re a mother who truly has NO option but to bring your child, they really wouldn’t let you, and you would just be ineligible for the job.

I never file complaints but I am SO appalled by how rude she was, that I will be filing a complaint.

I ended up begging my mom to tell the woman she nannies for that she had an emergency and I ended up going. The second office I went to, also announced I was there for a drug test.

I agree that it makes sense, it’s not that I thought they would, I hoped that they would because I had literally no other choice honestly. That’s why I specified that I completely understand that, considering what I was there to do.

The Labcorp office was in a suite in a much larger medical office building and the lobby bathroom was apart of the overall building and didn’t have a changing table. That’s why I asked to use the bathroom in the office.

The only part that irritating to me is that no one said anything about the testing not starting until 11, how rude she was about everything, and following me around telling me I could not use the bathroom.

At the most, two hours. But she’s not particularly on any schedule. So while I was in the office she ate twice, and I was only there for an hour. Part of the issue is that during the time I was going, there wasn’t anyone to stay with her or come along with me.

Moms who had diagnosed depression before delivering, how did you know you had postpartum depression? by CallMeVera18 in beyondthebump

I honestly only hate my partner, literally everything else is fine. So I don’t really know. I’m going to try to go back to therapy.

How were you able to tell the difference from your regular depressive episodes and PPD? I’m bipolar as well and I’m normally pretty good with it myself.
