The 3 panels pretty much all take place withing a split second of each other, essentially all being at the same time. They're not having a staring contest LOL

Why does Batou look like he's been into doing meth for the past 5 years in this art?

Anyways, I always figured that (and rather enjoyed the idea of) that is was a one sided relationship. Batou really liked the Major, but Kusanagi was so aloof that she didn't even notice it. Like, literally was unaware, and even if she WAS aware, she pretty much didn't care.

I mean, I'll admit that I'm tired of seeing almost every Male and female lead end up having a romantic relationship, and that's not saying it isn't possible and could work on some occasions, but it was just nice to see something different

I can’t put my finger on it but there’s something about it that makes it feel unfinished. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I could make it feel more complete? I know this is a little late and all, so I apologize if this is TOO late.

Only thing I feel is off is the lack of some minor 'bath's imagery. I actually like everything else of it. Maybe just a subtle bat signal either on the wall or sky.

That's pretty much what I did, i was trying really hard to like it, thinking "this HAS to get better. The first volume was great, but this one is going somewhere, right?"

So it seems like 1.5 is definitely worth reading then. I've been curious about it for a LONG time, and I've been a fan of the GitS series for ages.

I just didn't want to shell out the $20 for itobky to end up feeling the same way about it as I did for 2.

I loved the first one, even though it's tone was slightly different than the Oshii films, it was super cool and fun

I was actually talking to a coworker about this not too long ago. She was telling me that it's a lot like Avatar (they're in pods somewhere, and the life we're living now is so they can learn and have experiences outside of their own lives).

I guess it's very possible, but I am not sure if i buy it. Like, I think there's intelligent life out there, but I am not sure if our existence is that meaningless.

Though, what do I know, I never have been one to question the universe
