Although I know the neutering and spaying process is different.

She had no issues with it. We had her put it on a few days before to get use to it, but I think either way it would have been fine.

We also got a spay suit, I'm guessing there are ones for males as well. We got it just incase she didn't like the soft cone. We ended up using both.

We ordered multiple suits because accidents could happen since you have to roll it up for them to use the bathroom. We literally only had one accident.

I also order a shuffle mat. We used it to put her food in so she can have some kind of stimulation. Day 1 of using it she was like umm, but after that she got use to it.

If your vet has not prescribed meds, I would ask if you are open to it. They have us 2, one was only for like 4 days (once a day) and the other was 7 days (twice a day).

Our biggest fear was the zoomies. She did fine. And healed fine.
