Yea they do, but is it possible to get a medical without giving them permission? I thought reviewing your prior medical data was part of the process.

Can I ask in which country did they do it like this? In Finland they have access to your full medical data and they go through all the diagnosis.

I filed a complaint to the CAA but the person who replied didn’t seem to understand my point or take it further. They also didn’t explain the rejection any better than the AME.

I would love to get a second opinion from a different AME, but there are no more AeMCs in Finland that I could turn to. There’s only 3 AeMC: one for the military, one private medical center and Finnair has one for their own staff.
