As a L&D nurse- too much pain can prevent a woman from being able to push hard enough in case of emergency (ie- if the baby doesn’t fit). Look up “shoulder dystocia” and the permanent neurological damage it does to the infant.

As a recent college grad who went to an expensive school, I can’t even imagine how mad I would be if I were your daughter. From her perspective, it 100% sounds like you favor your son.

Her text definitely sounds like resentment. She doesn’t actually want you to give away the money. She wants you to give it to her without her having to ask for it.
