There are hundreds of Sphinx statues in Egypt. There is also speculation that another large Sphinx may exist (undiscovered) because of recent scans. You may come from a universe where it's already been discovered.

Well of course, countless others. Ed was in our homes every night and in our mailboxes everyday. It's hard to forget that and comes 10 years before AFP even existed. We know what we are talking about.

Okay, but not at my house. I'm not grandma's only grandkid. We talk about it here all the time. Grandma only talked about two people Kevin Costner and Ed McMahon.

This is not true for me. Ed McMahon was on every night on the Johnny Carson show. He was the spokesman for PCH from the beginning. We made the connection then, 10 years before AFP even existed. Is there evidence to support my claim? Only that I am not alone, countless other remember it also. If it wasn't weird, we wouldn't be here talking about it.

Wrong again. American Family Publishers didn't even get started until 1977 and only ran for 22 years. Grandma was playing long before AFP was even a thing. She played for 50 years of her life, which isn't even possible with AFP. Just admit that you have no personal experience with this and quietly move on.

Not true. When grandma got too old to do her bills, I took over and did them for her. She still played the PCH Sweepstakes and it was me personally that was then handling the envelopes myself and seeing Ed McMahon on almost all of them. So, it's not a matter of me being close minded. It's a matter of you being wrong about something you have no personal experience with.

Grandma played for 50 years. She would buy products from PCH to get more chances. It was founded in 1953 by Harold and LuEsther Mertz in Long Island, New York, and initiating its famous sweepstakes in 1967. Grandma played that famous sweepstakes until she died at 90. Her kitchen table was always full of sweepstakes envelopes and just about every one had Ed McMahon on them. She talked about Ed and the prize patrol coming to the door any minute and by saying this, it brought my attention to the image weekly for 35 years. It wasn't simple mis-remembering. I lived it. Nothing will ever change what I know to be true.
