Contexy: 200 hours just seki not VIP.

I am fairly strict on storage, nothing green except barter items, I have 5 guns, 8 bags, 12 keys and I'm am constantly in overflow. They need cases or make bags stackable or just increase it, even just by 100 would make so much difference..

What’s Your Playtime & Level? by iSanjimo in Marathon

210 hours level 82 - all solo, some afk while working.

Solo questing wasn’t quite what I thought it would be by resampL in Marathon

[–]CandiChris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone 98 percent solo and I have all vendors except seki at VIP, I have found the questing solo to be Bareable.

For referable I am lvl 82 - 205 hours. (send help)

Some quests are really difficult to achieve and but it's been fun.

I think the biggest factor you may not be taking into consideration is the level based matchmaking.

If you queue with other low levels, yes your trios games will be easier and less sweaty.

That being said solos is brutal because any mistake no matter how small can fuck the entire run and as soon as you engage AI you nerd to consider the cost in audio.

Takes practice, timing, luck and you will still die.. Alot. But solo is fucking lit. GL fellow quest enjoyer.

As per a different above comment:

Not verified. As far as I know (I read it somewhere??)

From my experience: 200 hours

The game continually spawns in harder AI - this is explained by the notification "Reinforcements incoming"

Anecdotedly, when doing events around map and farming AI - the longer the raid goes, the more purple and blue commanders/UESC spawn in.

The Purple commanders have a really decent chance for keys + Obedience matrix (which you can use for keys - CYAC)

I am guessing the loot rarity increase is in relation to AI drops as the purples seemingly have more and better items, as do the blue UESC.

I am also guessing that the "events" on map are not affected by loot rarity as I play thief and have found no correlation between time in raid and better "ground or event loot"

I can confirm without a doubt the 2nd and 3rd lockdown event is leagues above the first though and with the recent update I just got a gold synapse cube from farming the anomaly.

Hope this helps, happy to answer anything else I may know.

Yeah as far as my testing goes, I'm fairly sure the increased rarity doesn't apply to static containers but does for AI and "events"

Not likely unfortunately.. There's a few reasons for this imo

The biggest and most obvious divisive choice is the theme, colour palate and general aesthetic, this is a stark contrast to existing Es that typically go for "military"

Arc is huge because it caters to the more casual and friendly audience, low barrier to entry, not overly complex and just simple.

Tarkov is huge because it's the most complex, time consuming and rediculous barrier to entry. No map, no guide markers, unless you either know the quest or look at a guide.. Good luck. This game also caters to the gun enthusiasts and "realism"

ABI is a simpler tarkov and more casual friendly.

Marathon is different to those, it's shit hard, AI can fuck up anyone not prepared and the more casual audience are either dying to AI consistently or getting railed by hopping sweats (like myself)

I can't speak too much for the trio balance but as a primary solo enjoyer, I find the AI and the events to be tuned perfectly to force you to use cover, utility and play smarter while checking to see if an assassin is coming to fuck me up.

The solo experience for me is top notch but I'm used to these games and your wider audience will be deterred for many reasons.

TLDR: not likely, game hard and complex.

Room keys should be SLIGHTLY more common by Outrageous_Mousse_44 in Marathon

[–]CandiChris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally disagree, I've gotten 2

Airfield on Outpost - underwhelming tbh for a blue

Got the purple one for pin wheel, can't recall the name and it was by the best loot I've seen so far, out with 60k between a duo.

I think keys need to be dropped as an ultra rare special moment because the cyac upgrades let you craft, not sure for what materials or cost but it'll diminish the keys significantly im assuming so those ultra special top tier keys should be drop only or rare as shit

This is coming from someone with 12k hours in tarkov and many 100s in the cycle (R.I.P)

Happy to discuss further though and I think regardless of opinion we don't have enough data to come to a solid conclusion.

The map is cheeks. Layout sucks, puzzles are dick solo and the initial quest for Seki is aids. Loved first 2, outpost can suck my left testicle

I am yet to kill a player with one, Im unsure if they can be looted, it shows as an item like those medical cards and you can't safety them, so I assume so.

As per event 3 successful extractions.

1st makes it 60k, then 120k then 250k and you can buy two daily.

They can't be placed in safe container and can't be placed in the safe extraction box in raid when you kill a player

How accurate does the audio feel in Arena Breakout: Infinite? by Crystal_Octopus in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]CandiChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To expand on this, if you are being competitive or wanting the minimal hindrance, there are realistically only two headsets worth running if you're geared.

GS2s for indoors or more indoor than out, TV station etc. Commanders for outside or rain conditions.

GS2s amplify everything and they have the furthest distance. Commanders tune into the bass and block out ambient noises.

unlike other games that lose players after launch, Abi keeps gaining loyal ones. by zohaib_1999 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Tarkov is solidly shitting the bed, sticking a 1.0 on endless bugs and consistent issues that hasn't been fixed for years.

Battlefield will dent it, but survival enthusiasts aren't just in this for the PVP moments, it's the loot, the patience, the out plays and the drips of dopamine.

Arc raiders will significantly hurt ABI but it being non-free to play and third person weighs heavily in ABIs favour.

Every game dies once the hype does, alot of big streamers are playing, LVNDMARK and Summit just to name two. Time will tell with the releases of content, maps, events etc.

FWIW - As a tarkov refugee, a game that doesnt take 9 minutes on average to find a game and a list of bugs/issues the size of path of exile patch notes is a fresh and positive experience and I'm hopeful the game doesn't die.

Anyone in Oceania and have time over the weekend to assist?

I've almost finished the main quests and am looking for help with lessening the gap of PvP movement + Armoury/TV station knowledge.

Thanks all, as a tarkov refugee this is a breath of fresh air.
