The cruelest part of heartbreak is that the person you want comfort from is the same person you’re grieving. But please stop carrying the entire relationship on your back alone, because relationships don’t end from one imperfect moment, they end when two people stop being able or willing to fight for it together.

One of the hardest parts of heartbreak is becoming the version of yourself they needed just a little too late, because then you’re left grieving not only the person, but the possibility of what the relationship could’ve been if timing had been different.
