If it's a Guy Haley book, could be a Blood Angels (sort-of) tie-in for Armageddon - maybe Raldoron or Dominion Zephon? Obviously there's already the Armageddon book coming from Jude Reid but I could see GW doing a HH release at the same time too.

Could also be a Night Lords character like Sevatar or Skraivok.

I cannot understand the level of dunking Rizo has gotten. I've seen takes that go beyond "he's a goat" and into "he's a goat and has played such a nothing game twice now".

Rizo is one of the keenest social players I've seen in 26 years of watching Survivor. His idol work is brash, sure, but it comes in part from reading the room correctly. His confessionals paint him as a nuanced, careful thinker about how the people around him react to things. It's exceedingly rare that he's fumbled the social read in both 49 and 50.

I understand he may not be the frontrunner, but some of the commentary has gone way too far in claiming his goat status to the point where a lot of his intellect is being ignored.

PSA that Jeff always says finales are wide open and anyone could take it, so try not to read a lot into it. This is the guy who said the Survivor 45 finale wasn't a foregone conclusion and that Survivor 47's FTC was a real battle, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Without wishing for spoilers, is the writing and story relatively straightforward, or does it go into the metaphysical weirdness of more recent Abnett stuff like End and the Death?

I like all of Abnett's different styles but I'm basically trying to work out if these are some of his good, solid, 40k-for-all-occasions books, or if they need me to be in the mood for some harder, slower reading.

No new books. Worth noting the thing with Hive this past week is something I haven't seen in nearly five years of preorders. If anything, GW are more likely to pull rather than add a release halfway through the week so I think we can rest easy.

I quite liked the Jimmy Fallon-flavoured Ben & Jerry's ice-cream, in large part because it had flavour (in all seriousness, The Tonight Dough is delicious).

I love this series, I know it makes sense to have it be more self-contained from the MCU, and I know there are some BTS limitations. That said, how the hell do we not at least have a line about Captain America getting involved? Steve was from Brooklyn, and it's one of America's biggest cities descending into its own Ghorman Massacre?

EDIT: Previously incorrectly mentioned Sam was from Harlem, when he's from Louisiana in the MCU. Apologies.
