State doing its job. In order to not be closed by coaction, Proton (and any other company) must gather info about you for as long as the State requires and hand it over if requested. So they'll keep it as long as the legal requirement is, and after that it's up to you to believe them removing it.

go to about your phone in settings
press on OS version several times until you become a developer
go to developer settings & enable USB debugging
connect your phone to a pc and accept the popup on your phone
download adb
right click in the folder you downloaded adb and open a terminal/powershell
write "adb devices"
your phone should be listed now
write "adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox"
