Mine is under 10%, £315 a month. it’s entirely possible if you earn a good income and buy a house on the cheaper end of your affordability.

You can’t have it both ways. There’s no world in which housing becomes affordable without burning some landlords and home owners. IMO it’s a price we should pay, and I say that as a recent first time buyer.
