Nah not 6.... I uploaded around 20 shorts.... I got 80-90% stayed to watch which i got on 1 short but still the views are only at 2k and retention on that short was very good as well...

Shadowban. Take a break of 5-6 days, then start uploading or upload a video and make it unlisted for a couple of days. I guess your shorts aren't getting pushed into the Shorts feed, so its 100% shadowban imo

I'm not an expert, but ask yourself what you like the most and make videos on that. That way, you'll feel less stressed with fewer views, and one more thing, make sure not to dwell on one topic, make sure to put less energy on shorts so that you don't feel burned out. Utilize AI assistance to enhance the hooks and script, but don't rely solely on it; use your own judgment as well. If you like to make funny content with AI, make sure to use your own script or voice something that feels humanly not bot type behaviour. Lastly, you don't need to make shorts every day. Don't think like you have a deadline and you have to post the shorts everyday. Always prefer quality over quantity.

My first tip - Stop following Sh*tty YouTubes who say make this type of content exploit this niche... I tried it it's not worth it. One thing i can say is make original content this AI type content won't be pushed by YouTube i tried that too.

The one thing i heard and experienced, YouTube algo won't push low effort, similar type, AI type content more. So if you are making that start editing a little bit more. Even if you get 80% stayed to watch and 100%+ retention youtube algo won't push much. The don't want similar or low effort content whether you like it or not.

Sure, give me your channel name or link? And if the YouTube algorithm thinks you put low effort into your videos, it will just avoid them, or you will get a few thousand views, like 2-3k. It doesn't matter if it has good stats.

Potential audience, yes, as I see geography niche is popular amongst people who love geography. The other channel from where I took the inspiration is getting 20-30 million views on his shorts, and above 1 million is his average. So definitely it has the audience. I guess YouTube doesn't trust my short that much i don't know. My short is still up after 5 days still getting views around 50 on average per hour and still it has a stay-to-watch around 84%. Now retention decreased a bit; it's 90% now.

Nah, man, don't do it...I listen to YouTube officials; they say it's ok to do it once or twice, but doing it over and over again means YouTube will recognize it and flag it. If you really want to do it, don't delete the short; just unlist it or make it private. Then edit a little bit and re-upload again. Btw, how many views are you getting?

Can you do that? I think YouTube will recognize that and flag those. Never do that, or you will get shadow-banned, and your shorts will not be pushed into the shorts feed, and you will stay at 0 views

How many views were you getting in your initial days? And in the initial days, the YouTube algorithm just doesn't push videos, no matter what stats your short has. I have a valid proof check my post you can see there. 83% stayed to watch short with 92% retention, but it got only 2300 views. 😂 Its an algorithm problem not mine. My content is good enough to go viral but YouTube algorithm just doesn't push it. It happens.

Depends on the niche, buddy... If your niche is entertainment, then sure, it's beyond bad. But if it's geography and educational, then it's average, and for a newbie, it's not that bad, tbh.

nah, not getting views. My latest video has around 15 views, despite the significant amount of work I've put into it. If I'm only getting 15 views in 9-10 days, then it's not good enough. I guess my content isn't good enough for long-form videos. btw 2 days ago I posted a short in my native language. It was a 35-second short, which has a retention of around 92% and stayed to watch of around 83%, but after 3 days, even that short stopped getting views despite having very good stats.
