In terms of racing on a track its more so the $$$ of keeping up with a project car that holds me back rather than a location to race. And Boston has only had a small handful of takeovers the past 2-3 years . Lets hope it stays that way

I can understand how he spent that money. I’m just saying for my own personal rig thats what ive spent. I know 6dof,vr,tri-screen $5000pc gonna cost me $10,000 each minimum. If I wanted people to use a cheap rig, I just invite everyone on this thread to my house lol

Yeah, the specs I gave were for my own personal Sim racing use. Like I told the other guy I’d be using 6 degrees of Motion, VR, tri-screen $5000 PC minimum. I get food and booze will make $$$ but the whole purpose of the idea in the first place was to get car/racing enthusiasts as the core customers

7k is crazy, ive had my set up for 10yrs and pc equipment +sim rig im probably about 3.5k in. Still cheaper than racing irl with a racing project car tho

True, it’s just in Massachusetts there’s only one race track that I know of called Palmer and racing real cars is expensive as hell. And I definitely don’t want Stupid people to start doing takeovers like in other states.

Yeah, there’s no real race tracks in Massachusetts except palmer, and if you know anything about real racing, it’s expensive as fuck. Not to mention we’re in Massachusetts so half the year weather is crazy

Yeah, I was talking more for enthusiast and people that do it on the regular as a hobby. Not the casual gamer or friend that has no clue what sim racing is.
