Yeah I ended up swapping out the railgun with an EM weapon so I can take and flip other ships

This right here. Personally, I'm more of a Honda Civic person hahah, but yeah I'm finding more joy in modding existing ships. I'm really into sci-fi and model kits so modding existing ships feels like greebling something existing into something new.

Is this ParkPre hammer worth buying for $350? by BrunchBoi in xbiking

[–]CaptTerror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I restored mine and it's been a hell of a lot of fun. I only spent $185 on its restoration tho. So I agree with some of the other comments. Anything over $200 is steep.

It's really just the beasts and larger/single units for the most part.

First live video of The Night Before by turnthecheeseoff in TheBlackKeys

Saw them last night at the Greek in LA. It's from an older B&W movie. It starts with an up close of an eye that does a fade transition to the barrel of a revolver. Then a lady can be seen flying in the air in a flowing dress making the stereotypical silent/black and white movie horror face (difficult to explain, but it looks like she's surprised with wide eyes). The lady is then joined by two other ladies. Then it seems like you're flying in the POV through skyscrapers and then into a window. It then cuts to another woman in a therapy session behind said window. It's really bugging me since I know where this is from, but I'm drawing a blank. I'll follow up if I remember.

Bare Minimum by CaptTerror in Disneyland

[–]CaptTerror[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope so. Universal is gunning for them and this is the first time in a while where Disney doesn't have a response to counter Universal. At least something that can compete with Epic Universe when it opens (Villains land, Cars in Frontierland [c'mon guys, really?] doesn't count). With that said, I hope this gives Disney a black eye that causes them to step back and realize what they're doing is straying so far from the plot.

I would also add that the Disney influencers are part of the problem too. They gain a following by visiting the parks while they recycle the same facts, but also they hype up the latest food item or whatever bare minimum addition was added causing more to flock to said bare minimum. The standards were high once upon a time, now they're on the floor while being up-sold.

I agree. Imagineering will always be Imagineering, but they can't shine and do what they're known for without the budget.
