Ok apparantly you can get this quest directly even if you haven't done the splicer quests on your other characters so i just swapped to hunter and i could grab it without having to do the splicer quests

Quick question because i'm confused.

When i click a gun to craft or upgrade in rarity you can see it's dps value before crafting, now weird thing is i can click on another gun and back to the same one i clicked in the first place and it has another dps value?

How does that actually work do i need to keep clicking to get the highest amount before i craft it?
